You’re probably already familiar with luminaries such as Jimi Hendrix, Aretha Franklin, James Brown and Diana Ross. But what about sonic astronauts like Fats Waller, Curtis Mayfield, Death and Etta James? They began an odyssey that forged the essential elements weaved into the foundation of our Soul System. So join us on our fantastic journey. As Don Cornelius famously put it, “Love, peace and soul”.

Rock & Americana Curator

I’m a little bit country and I’m a little bit rock ’n’ roll. My first concert was Howard Jones at the Henry J. Kaiser convention center in Oakland. I sing for Hot Lunch and Sweet Chariot. I also enjoy skating pools and riding old choppers.
