Brendan Mayer is a singer-songwriter and son of Peter Mayer (guitarist for Jimmy Buffett). His folk-rooted style often features melodic songwriting, mellow rock instrumentation, and extensive vamping. Other artists that can be heard on his station include Joshua Radin, Iron & Wine, and Christina Perri. He came by with musicians Zeb Briskovich and Miles Vandiver and played “Figure it Out” off his EP The Getaway Car.
