My dad brought a record of Spanish Christmas carols called En El Portal de Belen. (in the 60's) It was from Colombia, it had an orchid in the corner-I believe the record company's icon. The album cover was blue background with the holy family in the stable. It was a 33rpm LP album. It has disappeared, and I can't seem to find one to purchase anywhere. Can anyone help me? It was my favorite. Se perdio, y no he encontrado reemplaze. ?Alguien me puede ayudar?

A.M.P., Is this the record: I would imagine if you keep searching on ebay, it will turn up eventually. The group is listed as Coro Suramericano and it's on the Zeida label (orchid logo). Zeida was purchased by another Colombian label, Codiscos, so it might be worth checking out their website suerte y felices fiestas! Marcos

The link to the En El Portal de Belen record was spot on!! Just seeing the cover again brought tears to my eyes. Silly but true. Whose is that! I have not seen it on ebay all these years, so I imagine it's beyond a long shot. The new record label was a bust. Who has that record? (Any chance to get a copy burned when there's no chance of buying it anywhere??-or how could I get the royalties to the artists??) Even my cousins in Colombia haven't been able to run across it. But having more details, maybe they can search. Still, If anyone has one in their moldy oldie pile, or purge pile, let me know!
