theboot.jpgI’ll be at The Boot restaurant for a Pandora meet-up. You can RSVP by emailing with “Norfolk” in the subject line. Hope to see you there–excited to meet our Norfolk-area listeners!
When: Thursday, July 19, 2007 @ 6:30 PM
Where: The Boot 123 W. 21st St., Norfolk (map)
We’ll have complimentary appetizers from The Boot’s wonderful menu starting at 6:30 pm and if you’d like to purchase additional items from a special light fare menu, you can do so before 7 pm. The kitchen will be closed when the discussion begins at that time.

I was genuinely excited to read about tour and quickly look to find a stop nearby only to be dissapointed that the state I reside and in (Nebraska) and those close to where I live (Iowa & South Dakota) did not make the list. Total bummer. I assume you pick spots by state location and clearly not population as the Combination of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Omaha/Lincoln, Nebraska take you well past the one million mark. My two cents.

Thanks for the post Kurt - we're going to hit every state eventually. It's not a matter of population. We've had meetups in Biloxi, hattiesburg, Baton Rouge and Portland ME to name a few... Tim (Founder)

Tim, the event was awesome. I expected the crowd to be a little younger and more tech-savvy. Plus the entrees were a really pleasant surprise. The inclement weather that got your plane delayed was responsible for letting me get off work early. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to attend. Good luck, Boris

I was out of town, and very sorry to miss this. I use Pandora all the time to discover new music. I've even gotten all my friends hooked. Thanks, and when will you be back in Norfolk?

A great place for you to stop by is Alexandria, VA (near DC), there is a cool place called The Birchmere, it would be ideal and I bet it would get a really good turnout. Check it out! :)
