If the candy hearts and increase in flower orders hadn’t clued you in, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner.  We took a look at your listening patterns to see if your music choices suggested love or loss and everything in between.

This year, you crowned Ed Sheeran the King of Hearts. He is not only our top spun love artist, but “Thinking Out Loud” is also the top spun love song.  “All of Me” by John Legend, known for its video showing actual wedding footage of Legend and his bride Chrissy Teigen was your #3 love song.  R&B and Country are also well-represented, with Chris Brown and Tim McGraw rounding out the top three.

Valentine’s Day is not for everyone. California, Utah, DC, Hawaii and Washington are the most lovesick, listening to the most Pandora Love Stinks and Break-up Songs stations.  While men and women may feel differently about Valentine’s Day as a whole, one thing they can agree on is that the soundtrack for a lovely night starts with R&B.

You can find all of our Love Songs & Valentine’s Day offerings in the genre browser, including newly curated stations like Beats for The Sheets to get you going and our 90s, 2000s and 10s Love Songs for whichever decade makes your heart sing.  We’ve even got a new Funny Valentine comedy station for those of you looking to lighten the mood.

What station will be your soundtrack for the 14th?
