It’s an all-too-familiar scene. Your headphones are in, and the perfect song starts playing on Pandora. Since you’re a great friend with even better taste in music, you take a screenshot of the song you’re listening to and share it on Snapchat so your friends can look it up and dance around to it later.

But wouldn’t it be nice if your friends could listen to the song you shared directly from Snapchat? This summer, Pandora is making music part of Snap’s language and teaming up with them as the music streaming launch partner for Snap Kit, Snap Inc.’s new platform for developers. Soon, Snapchatters in the U.S. will have direct access to Pandora’s entire music library.

Whether you’re chatting with your friends, detailing your life through a bitmoji, or posting to your Story, you’re creating shared experiences — and we’re helping you do it through music on Snapchat. Sunday scaries got you down? Share a song that’s helping you through with your closest friends. Found a song with the perfect BPM on your evening run? Share it to your story — your buddies might want to add it to their workouts, too. Does a specific song take you back to that one perfect summer? Tap share, and send it out.

In the coming weeks, Pandora listeners will be able to share their favorite songs with any Snapchatter in the U.S.! You don’t even have to connect your Snapchat and Pandora apps. Just swipe up to listen and enjoy through Pandora. Stay tuned for more!
