Hey there there are alot of really great up and comming bands in Maine. Believe it or not. But a really good one that has attracted many people (mosty younger generations) is Sparks to the Rescue. They are a kind of alternative rock i guess you could say. But yeah so you should take a look.

I realize you've come and gone by now, but I highly recommend Phantom Buffalo (formerly The Ponys). They have a myspace page here.

I went to the Brett Dennen show in Portland last Friday, July 20th. He was amazing and so was his opening band. I highly recommend checking out Pete Kilpatrick - they were great. And if you have the opportunity to see Brett Dennen live - definitely check him out - he put on a great show.

Hey there is more to the state than Portland Maine. Maine is a great state that has allot to offer. I just learned about Pandora I think that it is great. You should visit some more of the state like Rangley it is rustic but nice.

Tim, Have you ever considered tab-linking sheet music to the songs? I'm sure it would be a big undertaking, but do-able. Best regards, Ray
