Pandora Receives BMW Supplier Innovation Award

Pandora (NYSE: P), the leading personalized radio service, announced today that the company has been recognized with a BMW Supplier Innovation Award in the New Business Model category. The award was presented today at the BMW Group headquarters in Munich, Germany.

The vehicles began to roll out to consumers in early 2011.
Pandora has worked closely on the implementations with the BMW Group Technology Office USA in the Silicon Valley. The awards ceremony in Munich featured top BMW executives including Dr. Herbert Diess, member of the Board of Management of BMW AG, responsible for Purchasing and Supplier Network, and Dr. Klaus Draeger, member of the Board of Management of BMW AG, responsible for Development.
Pandora Executive Vice President of Business and Corporate Development Jessica Steel said, “We are thrilled to receive this global distinction. We are working to change the face of radio in a connected world, and this award demonstrates the meaningful impact Pandora is having on car radio listening.”
