Pandora Looks To Both Local And International For Ad Growth

Internet radio player Pandora has had some ups and downs since going public a year ago…And yet, Pandora is still adding users: This week the company said it grew its share of U.S. radio listeners to 6.1 percent up from June’s share of 5.98 percent and a 3.51 percent gain over the same period last year. Even as its audience and ad revenues surge, the company is still struggling over royalty payments for the music. The only answer then, is more ad revenue to cover those costs. We turned to Chief Revenue Officer John Trimble for some answers about where the growth will come from.
