Donnelly and Idearc Media maintained that search wouldn't eat into their profit margins, citing their larger sales forces and deep relationships with local retailers as a major advantage. The arguments coming from terrestrial radio companies (and even some big media buyers) for why Pandora's push into local isn't a real threat sound awfully similar.
