Be part of a Pandora video!
CLARIFICATION ON HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR VIDEO AT BOTTOM:
Dear Listeners -
We'd like to hear - and see! - what you think and have to say about Pandora. We're putting together a fun video piece of user-submitted videos about your experiences with Pandora: what it does for you during your day, a special moment, what it means to you, your friends, your family - anything fun or funny or special about Pandora that you'd like to tape and share and send in, please do! This can be just you, a group of friends, a class, team, office, troupe - any combination you can think of. We'll turn them into a thoughtful, tasteful, and joyful montage of our listeners.
Of course, this great idea has a limited time frame - we need all videos in by WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 18TH NOON PACIFIC TIME - short time frame, we know, but we think you're up for the challenge! Our only requirement is that you keep it clean and under thirty seconds.
As an extra thanks, we'll be sending t-shirts to the creators of the first 50 submissions (be sure to give us your mailing address and shirt size(s)). We ask that you read and complete the legal form that lets us use your video, and send the completed form in with your video - without that form, we can't use your video.
Thanks and looking forward to hearing and seeing your creations!
-Tim (Founder)
Update on how to submit:
The only way to submit your video is to click on the yellow "ACCEPT" at the bottom of the submission/legal form. When you click the "ACCEPT" button, an email opens to which you can attach your video and send to us.

Heya :) I can't make a vid because I'm just too busy right now, but I wanted to let you know that I have fallen in love with Pandora radio--especially since I can access it so seamlessly on my phone. You've introduced me to bands that I have never heard of and never would have even considered had it not come on my station out of no where. You're better than radio. You've created a radio that is intuitive, custom, innovative, inspiring and amazing. THANK YOU. For doing this project and for sharing it for free.

I just joined Pandora and love it. I was hoping that you would have traditional Native American music-drumming, powwow songs that kind of thing. Disappointed that I could not find any on Pandora.

I love Pandora radio. I like the way it learns the kind of music you like to listen to and keeps playing more. You definitely got it right! 2 thumbs up!

Can you please help many of us get a message to Pandora?
They have mislabeled a song and have the wrong lyrics...many people have commented.
Crosby, Still and Nash 'Helplessly Hoping' is wrongly labeled
Helpless, Helpless' by Neil Young.
Many thanks.

Hi! Just started using your iphone app today. WOW, I AM IMPRESSED!! I've used the itunes genius feature in the past, but Pandora gives me much better selections, with artists I'm familiar with and by introducing me to new artists in the styles I enjoy most! Thanks, this is definitely going to be my favorite app!

Why not let us choose a music genre instead of an artist or song title? just an idea... (I am a new listener with Pandora and enjoy listening while in my cubicle at work.)

Tim, Thank you for years of compilation of all the wonderful Southern Gospel music! Wow - what a selection Pandora has. I truly appreciate the suggestions of names or groups or albums I can choose. God's richest blessings on your endeavors in this category!

I love pandora, but am frustrated by the lack of performer information on the classical sections. Often, it is not the composer or work that I am a fan of, but the singer or pianist or what have you. Unfortunately this information is not cataloged in the detail that it needs. For example, a choral/orchestral work featuring soloists needs to credit not only the composer, conductor, orchestra and chorus, but also the soprano and baritone soloists. I wish there was a way to include this information, and even vote certain performers up and down--I may love hearing Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau's Forelle and cringe at another artist's.

Can you put a "replay" button on a song? That would be so great!

You should know that you just helped my 80 year-old dad through a really rough summer. Last year, all the kids, grandkids, even great-grandkids chipped in and bought Grandpa an iTouch. He had seen and admired granddaughter Laura's during a visit last summer. This retired electrical engineer took to the iTouch like a duck to water and Pandora became his number one source of his beloved music from the 1940's, jazz, even polka. The iTouch and Pandora traveled with my Pop from Michigan to Texas last fall and back again to Northern Michigan this past summer. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a summer of surgeries and long hospital stays. My mother - soon to be 80 - had surgery after surgery on her hip, developed fevers, infections, etc. It was awful for my still independent parents. What went with my dad on every trip - several chasing an ambulance - was Pandora playing on his iTouch. He absolutely wouldn't leave the house without it because (we asked) it calmed him down during these intense and frightening experiences. The surgeons and other support staff came to know my dad as the iTouch man because he could always be seen in the waiting room, hospital rooms, walking the halls, with ear buds in place, listening to Pandora. We are very grateful to Pandora for being there for my dad. Keeping dad calm is very important - he has had several heart attacks and has both a pacemaker and heart defribrillator. Thank you, Pandora. Just thought you should know.

I just wanted to stop by and leave a comment on your site. I was told about pandora.com as a place I could listen to music online and I LOVE IT!!! I love the fact I can chose what I listen to, the music, the singer...not stuck with whatever the person playing the songs on the radio decides he or she wants to listen too. I dont like the music from today so this REALLY works for me. THANK YOU for making this site possible. I will tell everyone I know that listens to music to give you a try.

Hi, just found your Pandora Radio, and am enjoying MY music of the 40' & 50's-- I have quite a few OLD high school classmates that I keep trying to send your info. via your web. but every single time I get all of their e-mail addresses typed in, before I can send, they all go away. I know they would love listening to OUR music, and ALL OF THE WONDERFUL MEMORIES THAT THE MUSIC CONJOURS UP. Not many of we OLD TIMERS left, but the few of us that I keep in touch with, would enjoy. Thanks for any help you can send me, regarding getting their e-mails on your list. Lorna

I heard about Pandora on NPR and immediately tuned in. I still have trouble finding the right combination of artists to get the mix I want, but the Genre Stations are great. I like Contemporary Blues and Contemporary Singer-Songwriters. I would like to find more music like some of the newer Nick Lowe songs. If I enter his name, all I get is the old stuff, which is a quite different sound. Thanks for doing this.

P.S.
I do also like the other person's suggestion of adding a replay button. There was a new song I had never heard and wanted to show someone else then couldn't get back to it.
You guys are awesome!!! Thank you again! God bless you! And Viva la Pandora!!!

To whom it may concern,
Thanks for providing such a great service for all people to utilize. I have been using Pandora for many years since the days before advertisements. I understand the need for the ads however, could you please consider adjusting the volume level on the ads. The volume increases quite a bit and when it's late at night and your listening to your music at the perfect volume the commercials come on and it becomes too loud for the late hours. If people adjust the volume to compensate for the louder commercials the music is then playing very low. It would be good to have the commercials be the same volume.
That would be greatly appreciated and again thank you for all you provide. I thoroughly enjoy my channels and I am glad such a thing as this exists for us to use.
Best,
Michael

I work with Musicians daily. I searched for a particular Artist to create a new station on my Pandora....love that you have "Byron Fry"....but VERY disappointed that his music is not playing along with Steve Vai...Jeff Beck....etc ......you have his tunes playing with others that do not fit. Byron Fry's music needs to be with Guitar Artist of his level only.
I highly recommend you change this asap.
Thanks,

I would like to make a complaint as well as a suggestion/request.
First, let me give you some background: I am a long time and constant listener. I typically use my 40 free hours by the 9th or 10th of every month. I am a college student who shouldn't spend $36 for radio all at one time. I also have an old laptop that can't handle crazy advertisements. I also understand you are running a business and must make money some how, ads do that.
With all of these things in mind, I want you to know that your ads are always freezing up my computer to the point that I cannot listen to Pandora and have to refresh my browser. Once I do this, I then have to sit and listen to another ad and pray that it won't cause a glitch. Would it be possible to eliminate this problem or do you have any suggestions (aside from upgrading)?
Now about Pandora One. I would upgrade in a heart beat if it was possible to do monthly subscriptions. I could afford to pay $3 a month, which multiplied by 12 is $36. Heck, I could even afford $4 a month, which would end up generating more money for you. I would even consider paying $5 a month. I just cannot do $36 in one fail swoop.
Just some ideas from a loyal Pandora user.
Thanks,
Cassie

What ever happened to this video? Did you get it edited together? I sent something in, but no word back, no t-shirt, no nothing.. hmm
Posted by: J Manning at October 13, 2010 7:39 PM
I don't want to put together a video, but I actually found this blog because I've been wanting to provide some positive feedback. I've had an account for a while, but I just started using it today really heavily. I get this warm fuzzy feeling when listening to this instead of stuff I've acquired not so legally, and I honestly don't mind the ads since they're short and unobtrusive. I'd considering paying for the subscription service and replace all my music listening with Pandora (desktop and iPhone) if it wasn't for the issue of not having an Internet connection 100% of the time. I might still buy a subscription anyway since it's so cheap. ;)

Just want to say thank you. I just wish I could have a part of the Genome Project. I have been on my own quest/genome project for quite a while. I've explored everything from obscure record stores to public radio in several states. Pandora brings that all to me. Keep it coming. Music is my sanctuary.

Trouble shooting question: For tunes that have full lyrics available, I see the button to use but it is not working. I was unable to locate the answer to my question in the help section, nor did the search option help.
Please advise. I appreciate responses. Thank you. LPM
