Jamming :: The Musicology Show :: Vol. 48

LeboAdd your own hey! Here's a brand-new episode of "The Musicology Show," our long-running audio podcast about the nuts and bolts of music making. This one's all about jambands, jamming, and the search for the perfect tube.

Joining us are Lebo from ALO (pictured to the right), Trevor Garrod from Tea Leaf Green and Newfangled Wasteland, and Jeremy Korpas from Big Light. (Newfangled Wasteland, btw, is a new West Coast jam outfit which pulls exclusively from the writings of Beck Hansen, aka Beck.)

As always, it's free to subscribe to "The Musicology Show" in iTunes or in any other feedcatcher (Google Reader, Juice, etc.)

Just scroll down on the main podcast page to hear those 40+ earlier episodes, or jump straight to the category pages on Composition, Styles, Singing, Instruments and Rhythm.

Love Pandora!! I've been listening on my computer & now just got me new iPhone, so immediately wanted you there also. I would love to know if you have a mix of songs that would be good for working out? Kind of fast pace??

I can't believe I just found Pandora? I remember years ago when I first got my msn account 2003 hearing that it was great and very handy, I just couldn't find the easy link so I just sort of let it go by the wayside. Today, six years later I was changing my Nav bar and found the Radio link and put it up.. Well, to my great happiness when I clicked on it there you were, just what I was looking for. Thanks, you really saved me a lot of time and hours of listening pleasure.

Hey Tim,

Thank you for taking the time to send me a welcome email. I'm sure you are very busy!

I just wanted to let you know that during the past 2 years I have been walking through a valley.

By Gods grace He has never left my side, and has been opening doors for me that I did not think were possible for me. But, as I am reminded in His word, With God all things are possible!

I just recently upgraded to my very first Blackberry and one of the blessings of this new endeavor of mine is having Pandora on it! Wow, what a true blessing this is... I do not own a home computer, and the radio stations I like to listen to do not come in very clear in my area. I have been in awe listening to my praise and worship music. I have been very much edified and encouraged through this music. I listen to praise and worship music just before I go to sleep, and I also get to enjoy the more contemporary Christian music such as Lincoln Brewster, Big Daddy Weave, Toby Mac, Third Day, Rush of Fools, and so many more! I sincerely thank you for this labor of love that you have so generously offered the country! God bless you, and may you have a blessed and wonderful rest of your day.

Sharon.
