Citay :: Concert Videos :: Vol. 34

CitayAside from Judas Priest (Downing & Tipton) and the Allman Brothers Band (Haynes & Trucks), it's rare to find twin lead guitars handled so well. Okay, perhaps Iron Maiden (Murray & Smith). Here we have, for your viewing enjoyment, the twin guitars of Citay (Feinberg & Smith).

"Yes, we are in the middle of recording a new album. It'll be done in the late summer and out in early 2010 on Dead Oceans. It's a similar vibe, sort of. Definitely more upbeat, bigger, louder, but still the same themes -- soaring guitars and vocals, groovy parts, long-form songs (for the most part) and a generally epic experience."

That was bandleader Ezra Feinberg, in the interview accompanying this session, talking about the next Citay record.

This session featured the entire large band in one room to record. No overdubs, even on vocals.

"Little Kingdom"

"First Fantasy"

"Nice Cuffs"

"Set Me Free"

And now for something completely different: some of your ads are glitchy, and don't automatically return the browser window to the music, freezing after the conclusion of the ad. I know it's not my technology's fault because it's happened on multiple computers and different browsers, both Firefox and Chrome.

@Amelia -- Hi, I'm putting you in touch with our tech support. We have not been hearing any other reports of this, so it may be configuration issue, despite the different browsers. For future reference, our tech support is pandora-support@pandora.com.

Why do you require third party storage in the flash player as it isn't required for actual music functionality. It is a storage tracker for your advertisers and as such compromises security for your users. There was just a security alert noted about this at macworld - users don't realize that deleting cookies and other efforts to retain privacy are compromised by the flash player third party storage...

Just curious, why was the decision made to remove the small-windowed version of Pandora? Why have Pandora or affiliates begun to pop-up advertisements more and more before playing music? And now there is a limit to how long users can listen a month providing they have not, "upgraded," yet?

I understand how petty this all sounds, however I am not looking for short-term answers to my questions. I am rather interested in seeing if Pandora is going to continue on with the path it has chosen.
