Turtle Island Quartet :: Concert Videos :: Vol. 32
You may be familiar with Pandora's jazz catalog, but not as much so with our vast and ever-expanding classical collection. We recommend heartily that you explore these rich archives of jazz and classical music, and we're happy to suggest some starting points if you'd like.
This week's guests appeal to fans of both classical and jazz, and they are also the first Grammy winners we've ever had in the video series: the Turtle Island Quartet. (Winners of multiple Grammies at that!) Their deft arrangements and beautiful string timbres make for subtle and satisfying re-considerations of great jazz works, but they also compose original works, such as the first song here, "Model Trane."
