Alexis Harte :: Concert Videos :: Vol. 29
California songwriter Alexis Harte uses
humor and a light storytelling touch
to deliver his tales of mental illness,
political ineptitude and modern parenting.
In this video set shot backstage at
Pandora's Oakland HQ, Harte spoke with
us about his songwriting muse.
"The Ballad of Darius McCollum"
"Let Him Be President
(Of A Modest Retail Chain)"

One of the advertisments that is displayed while utilizing the browser interface is fraudulent. ARAlifestyle.com is touting the Advanced Registry Optimizer 5, which will increase your speed, blah blah blah. There's a direct link to the software download, how convenient. Once you install and use this application it captures virtually ALL of your personal data. Identity theft galore. Google it. Anyway, just wanted to warn y'all. I don't really know what other forum to post this in, so... yeah. Ciao!

Hi, Tree,
We Googled the Advanced Registry Optimizer software, but it seems to be on the up-and-up. CNET gave it a 4 out of 5 rating:

Thanks for keeping an eye out, though -- we're always open to hearing your opinions on our sponsors, or on any other aspect of your Pandora experience. Happy listening.

I'm impressed by how many listeners buy music after hearing it on Pandora. That's so awesome. You guys rule for supporting musicians.

The "The Ballad of Darius McCollum" is a very interesting subject matter for a song.

Not related to this post at all.... I'm a new member and appreciate the music. Do you have any Native American Flute & Drum music? Like maybe Coyote Old Man? Or is that a "in the future" item?
thanks, and thanks again for the music. I enjoy it very much.

Thanks, guys!
@Sandy K -- Coyote Old Man? I don't think we have that yet, though we're always adding new artists. I'm searching in our artist directory here:

In the future, if you ever want to recommend any music, just drop a line to suggest-music@pandora.com. Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm enjoying Pandora at work. I especially like plugging in a song or artist you like, and having similar music played after the song you request. Thanks, Pandora. E. Moore, WV

Not cool to cap free listening to at 40hrs a week. Oh wait I can have unlimited access for $36 a month. Other sites offer a better deal at half the cost with unlimted down loads to my mp3 player.
I'll start looking for another free music site. Thans for the memories.
