Black Moth Super Rainbow :: Concert Videos :: Vol. 33
Western Pennsylvania isn't often considered as a hotbed of psychedelic music, but maybe that's why Black Moth Super Rainbow worked so well as they emerged from the woods.
BMSR's mix of analog synthesizers, vocoded vocals, electric piano and swung-sixteenth drumming makes for a warm but disorienting sound. While you struggle to make out the lyrics, the liquid and limpid sonics wash away any concern over enunciation. But then the creepy masked figure returns, and you're back in the land of the unsettled.
In these live videos, since BMSR refuses to speak on camera (ala the Residents), Odd Nosdam speaks for them backstage, while Eric Wareheim from Tim and Eric speaks for them on-stage.

This is actually supposed to be a bug report, but I don't think pandora has a bug reporting feature, so this is the best I can come up with. The pandora player is saying that I have reached my 40 hour limit, and I must wait until September 1st before I can listen again. I had reached the limit July 29th, and it had said wait until august 1st. But now it says I have already listened to 40 hours of music in August, which is unlikely, as it is only 2 hours into the month.
