The Submarines :: Concert Series :: Vol. 20
The Submarines write LOVE songs, but they aren't all sweetness and light. Sure, many of their songs are widescreen paeans to the power of romantic love to save the world. But their music has a political undercurrent to it. Take "You, Me and the Bourgeoisie," their single that has become nigh-on ubiquitous thanks to its placement in multiple Apple ads on television. It's really not JUST a love song. You'll see.

Why doesn't the song playing match the song being shown on the play list?

Pandora,
Thanks for a great listening experience. The mix of music has been flawless and matches my taste perfectly. I am telling all my friends about this.

What's this I hear about the "death" of Pandora?! Charge per song? fine.
Why not re-sell the service for use in other web sites too? Give it some ways to integrate into other UIs and let businesses rebrand Pandora... slap a "powered by Pandora" somewhere in there... you're golden! Where do I sign up?
p.s. sorry post is OT

@DJCookieJar -- If you want to support Pandora with a subscription, it's only $36 per year, and here's how to do it: http://www.pandora.com/subscribe
@Mark -- Excellent idea, eh! I'd love to see music videos navigable through the genome...

Just listened to the songs; I never knew who Pandora is; however I have to admit that I liked what I heard.

@kevin - I'm waiting for my band to show up. I hand delivered a CD to the Oakland office in December and want to make sure Pandora is supporting the little guys (like me).
.. but beyond listener subscriptions, don't you think there is a market for other business that want a radio station for their sites?
1 more thing... when r u gonna add lala.com along side amazon and itunes... those two are too intrusive for my taste, lala has got it right.
Posted by: djcookiejar at April 22, 2009 06:18 PM
oh THAT song! hahaha - I always wanted to know who that was - THANKS!

This is a cool site. I need to turn my kids onto it. They would really love it.HTML code: Fear of Flying

Hi, DJ Cookie Jar,
We're definitely adding a lot of independent music and supporting the little guys -- 70% of what we play is independent. What is your band's name?
Our licenses really make it necessary for us to have Pandora played on Pandora.com, not embedded into other sites.
Thanks for the Lala suggestion; I will forward your idea to the developers.
