The Mumlers :: Concert Videos :: Vol. 16
Have you heard the Mumlers yet?
Good stuff. If you're a fan of exquisitely crafted tales about seedy drifters and well-appointed decrepitude, you're going to love these performances. You can hear an affinity to Dixieland, New Orleans brass band music, vintage blues 45s, and maybe the sadsack city sketches on old Tom Waits records, but it doesn't sound like any of those... there's just a certain affinity there.
There's a drag-foot, rusty, molasses swing to these tunes that serves them well, too.

I don't like the fact that I cannot play a song I request. Very poor web site, I think !
Posted by: cj at March 18, 2009 02:51 PM
thank you very good

@CJ -- What you're talking about is on-demand, which costs money. We're a free radio service, so the law doesn't allow us to play the song you request at the time you ask for it.
@sohbet -- Thanks, eh!

I think the music is great but agree that the site itself can use some improving. Just my thoughts, but keep up the good work.
