The Spinto Band :: Concert Videos :: Vol. 14

Spinto Band
Straight out of Delaware!

These six young men
have been playing music
together since they were
eleven (11) years old.

Nine albums later,
the Spinto Band hasn't
lost any of their
youthful energy.

Here they are live at
Bottom of the Hill:

"Summer Grof"

"Needlepoint"

"Later On"

"Vivian Don't"

Hey

I've been listening to Pandora for a week and really love it. The mix of music is great.

However, there is 1 issue that will keep me from being too serious about Pandora and making it part of my life in the long run:

An artist can only be listened to 4 times in a 3 hour period.

Come on, get real. This is just plain arbitrary. How about 3 times an hour? Especially for paid subscriptions. This restriction alone will keep me from taking you guys seriously. If I am going to subscribe, I would rather spend my limited dollars elsewhere where I have much more control over my listening pleasure.

I'm going to have to agree with Ned on that one.

It is great what you are doing guys, we really appreciate it.

Congratulations!

Live AT Pandora, live ON Pandora... I usually see "on" for video. It isn't live at MTV, it's happening live on MTV. For that matter, "playing live on the radio tonight."

But anyway......

Ned and Rachael -- The 4 appearances within 3 hours is a hard-and-fast rule. We cease being radio if we play any single artist more often than that. That's why Pandora can be free, as we operate under the provisions of the USA's Digital Millenium Copyright Act, passed back in the '90s.

It may sound arbitrary, but that's the law, and we follow the letter of the law to a t. (Even though there's no 't' in law.)

Our paid subscription, which is $3 (three) dollars per month, covers our streaming costs and the royalties we pay to the musicians we play. A full on-demand music service would, by necessity, cost much more than three dollars per month.

RadioFreak -- We love Spinto Band too! I'm glad you're enjoying their songs. I've had Moonwink in my CD changer all month, can't seem to remove it.

Something struck me tonight and I created a station using The Moody Blues. Since that time I have had hours of blissfully enjoyable music. Each and every tune Pandora chooses is wonderful and I find myself greeting many old friends tonight! George Harrison, Simon & Garfunkel, The Beatles, Crosby, Stills, and Nash. Just a few of the illustrious names. Thank you Pandora for helping me to create the perfect, for me at least, station. I love you!!
