Bullet Proof Space Travelers :: Concert Videos :: Vol. 12

Bullet Proof Space Travelers
Turntablism (n.)

1. A style of music in which the
contact between the record player's
stylus and the vinyl groove is controlled
by hand, and the Long Player (LP) is
scratched. This destructive motion
produces sounds that are manipulated
in speed, pitch and intensity.

2. A variety of hip hop based on the
use of the turntable as an instrument

I'm not sure where I should have posted this but

As of Macworld 2009 Apple allows iPhone 3g users to download iTunes music with a 3g connection. Pandora still tells us that you need a wi-fi connection to download music off of iTunes which is no longer true. Will this be addressed in the next Pandora iPhone update?

This website and organization is incredible. Stumbled across it, and have quickly learned of its amazing potential and ingenuity. Thank you for setting up this project. Telling friends now.

Reminds me of other turntablism groups, like the Invisbl Skratch Piklz, who really took it to another level. These guys are pretty good, maybe a bit more in line with the X-Ecutioners.

That graphic is great... all I can say about it is: "want, want, want" :)

Kevin, be not of faint heart. I know that I promised to send you the info on the four CD's that I mentioned to you.You asked that I supply you a list of only the songs and the artists who recorded them, that are not presently in your library. Unfortunately I have no knowledge of the contents of The Pandora Library of Alexandria, so I am forced to send you the entire contents of the 4 discs. I was never a fast or good typist but I'm working at it. I promise before the next Super Bowl comes our way you will possess a cleanly written list for your music "Mavens" to check out.If you are not familiar with the word, "maven", it's Yiddish for a full blown genius. Keep the Faith I will not fail my appointed Task.
Your faithful scribe,
Jack Simon

Thanks, Duke, thanks, Camilo!
Happy to hear you're helping us get the word out.
Glad that you checked out those Bullet Proof videos, too.

Hi Bryan - I will ask our technical support staff at contact you about that 3G question. (They are pandora-support@pandora.com)

Hi Jack -
That is very kind of you, thanks. If you ever want to figure out what songs are or are not in Pandora's library, just search by song or artist here:
http://www.pandora.com/backstage

I look forward to hearing the music additions that you will recommend, Jack. You clearly have a wide-reaching knowledge and a curious ear.

Your faithful scribe,
Kevin

Is there any word yet on when pianist Johnny Costa's music will be available to be played on Pandora. It's been a while since he was favorably passed on by your reviewers.
