Meet Phil Nicolo.
When a stranger asks what the words "Conshohocken, Pennsylvania," mean to you, you'd be forgiven for not having a snappy response right out of the gate. For us, the notoriety of this town just west of Philadelphia rests on its distinctive role in recorded music. Conshohocken is home to Studio Four and the great Phil Nicolo, our guest in today's video. This Grammy-winning producer, engineer and mixer has worked with legions of legends, including Aerosmith, Billy Joel, Joan Osborne, Urge Overkill, Dave Grohl, Yoko Ono, Kris Kross, the Hooters and... wait for it... Mr. Zimmerman himself, Bob Dylan.
And if you would like to exchange Twitter tweets, "Pandora Presents..." is on there (as 'pandora_kevin') and friendly. Generally friendly, at least.
Cheers,
Kevin

How can I get rid of this crap-jazz called Nick Colionne Radio? I never asked for it and can get no links that will help me delete it

"TWO OCCASIONS"( LIVE) is credited to Babyface on this wonderful station, but the song was done by The Deele--the band that L.A. Reid and Babyface were a part of--Babyface went solo a few years later.
I love PANDORA

Congratulations on Pandora. Great concept. It works like a dream. Enjoyed the Phil Nicolo interview.
One irritant. Reference your Samuel Barber bio. Lately, some artist's biographers seem constrained to "throw in" comments about an artist's sexual history or the fact he/she is gay. Seems to me such comments are gratuitous, add nothing to the artist's accomplishment and have no relevance in the narrative. Each time, I wonder if the biographer either has an ulterior motive or is personally titillated by such revelations. I believe you could raise Pandora's caliber another notch by simply omitting such comments. Nobody of note will miss them. Thanks.

You can delete a station by clicking on the small triangle next to the station name in the left-hand station menu, and then choosing "Delete this station".

Just wanted to give a shout out for Conshohocken, PA! Philly is my home town and I used to work in Conshohocken.
This tiny town with the big music impact is also the home of Ruffhouse Records where Lauryn Hill's debut solo album, "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" was recorded and produced.
Sidenotes: The amazing album earned lauryn an incredible FIVE Grammy Awards in 2000. BTW, just learned that John legend did piano on "Everything is Everything" on that album.

Why is it the stations search for similar beat music, but then not similar lyrics?
Is there a list of artists that accompany a certain station?
