A new audio episode, all about melodies

melody parker

podcast_mic.jpgThink of your favorite song, and chances are good that the first element popping into your mind is the melody. It's that melodic arc that leaves the indelible mark, inspiring you to sing along in your car. This week, special guest Melody Parker sings as she surveys the steps and leaps taken by some of the 20th Century's greatest melodicists: Jerome Kern, George Gershwin, Brian Wilson, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Richard Rodgers, just to name a few. Spend ten minutes thinking about melodic construction, and watch your brain light up.

Tra la la,

I thoroughly enjoy all kinds of music; especially Bag Pipes. It'd be cool to here them electrified, along with a strong Bass playing! Everytime I think of certain songs that stand out musically, I'd have to say that Van Halen's "Eruption(Live)".
The awesome guitar work that made Eddy the Legend that he truly is, is what releases me into a deep releasing of thoughts-it's totally inspiring! Don't get me wrong, there are lot's of great liks out there, I guess some stand out a little more than others is all I'm saying! Picture lying between two huge Maple trees completely entrapped within a hammock gently swinging with a gentle breeze as sweat drips off your body due to the intense humid heat.

Off topic of the post, but away I go:

Is it possible, or could new code be written, to add specific artists to a station I've already set up? Say, for example, I want to have Amy MacDonald in the same playlist as Duffy, Adele, Emma Pollock, etc. How do we do that? Can we do at this point?

Cheers

Thanks for your comments and suggestions, folks!

Eric -
All you have to do to add more artists to your station is click on the triangle next to the station name and select "Add more music to this station". Look here (http://blog.pandora.com/faq/index.html#88) for more info on creating and tuning Pandora stations.

Cheers!
