Video: Celebrate Brooklyn
There's nothing that brings a community together quite like a free music festival, and there's no festival quite like Celebrate Brooklyn. Every summer, BRIC Arts|Media|Bklyn treats families in New York to free concerts in Brooklyn's Prospect Park. These shows are not run-of-the-mill freebies, either; these are big-ticket artists such as TV On The Radio, Joan Osborne, the Stills, the Sam Roberts Band and Maceo Parker. Our guest on this episode, Celebrate Brooklyn executive producer Jack Walsh, explains how it works, and tells us how this festival has grown steadily over the course of 30 seasons.

No sleep 'til... (cue guitar...) BROOKLYN!

I became hooked on Ambient music two weeks ago thanks the pandora. The artist I'm looking for is Lustmord. Do think you might add it anytime soon? Thanks.
P.S. This site is the best on the web, hands down.

I have Pandora on up to 10 hours per day. It's one of the most fulfilling things I get out of my computer. You know when it says 'We think you've stopped listening, press ok if you're there/awake/not dead and sorry about the break in service', I pressed that button 4 times one day I was on the pc so long!
Love Pandora

Great to have Holiday music and genres. Thanks. Only complaint is that the selection of classical holiday music is pretty slim, and you made some bad choices in including The Ball State Singers. Yikes. Horrible singing. Same goes for the 50 Most Loved Christmas Carols. Wow, that's some bad stuff.
For better Holiday music, ...
How about Dale Warland Singers. Or St. Olaf College? Or National Lutheran Choir? Or Christmas with Julie Andrews? or Mel Torme or Rosemary Clooney?

Thanks for the tips, y'all. I'm glad you're liking the Holiday Music, and I'm sending the requests for new additions to our curator.

If you're someone who listens to music especially for the emotional places it takes you, you'll LOVE Pandora! I didn't realize that being pinned to my computer all day could be such a blessing. My biggest regret, as much as I love my gig, is that the company is based out west and it doesn't have an advertising office in Philly. It would be so much fun to sell space for this site! There's no question that it's the best experience on the web! Don't leave the site without checking it out!
