Video: Iridium Jazz Club, Manhattan
There's a longstanding rumor that saxophones are lined with iridium. (I was unfamiliar with the substance, which sits at Number 77 on the periodic table -- it's a silver-white metal that resists corrosion.) That rumor's truth or fiction is not for us to say, but the story was enough to inspire founder Ron Sturm to name his jazz club after this brittle metal. To learn more about this place, we headed to Times Square, and explored the Iridium Jazz Club. This great little spot is where Les Paul performs every Monday night, and where the Mingus Big Band plays every Tuesday. We happened to be there on a weekend night, and got to see the great jazz clarinetist Eddie Daniels.
It turns out that Iridium's master audio engineer, Rich Freeman, is a legend in his own right: he sang tenor on the doo-wop classic, "In The Still Of The Night."
Enjoy the show, and thanks for watching,
Kevin

Graciaportodo.

Why is it that when I select an artist, Pandora plays one song and then plays other artists that don't interest me? Is there a way for me to select an artist and have Pandora play that artist exclusively? Let me pick my own music.

Please help me submit this band to the Genome Project as they are an absolutely fabulous Celtic band from California.
They certainly deserve the recognition and support of the Pandora community

Hey-
I read about your software in laptop magazine. Love the interface! seem to work great.
I would love a feature where you could request a particular song, and it would be payed within the next few songs.
Keep up the good work!

For this pitiful soul...
Radio: ANNOYING most of the time... the wrong songs 90% of the time?!
Pandora: Aaaaah! Nice! The RIGHT song, 90% of the time! And if I don't like the others, I just c-l-i-c-k them into kingdom cum! Gone!
Free, and no DISTURBING commercials (though they poke 'em in on the sidelines - no prob).
All in all, a class act...

Happy to hear it! Iridium is really a great club. The sound is so good, and musicians booked there are top-notch.
