Curated stations: more staff favorites
Here's a few more stations Pandora staff have actively curated, and currently enjoy. (here's the last post's curated selections, if you missed them) Please feel free to leave links to your own well-curated stations in the comments so we can check yours out too!
Kevin, our podcast producer as well as a musician, would like to share his Obscuro Funk station, based on one carefully chosen song and supplemented with thumbs ups. He says he listens to this one a lot, and I don't blame him! Here's another of his stations that he's loving right now: Stiletto.
Addi, a one of our music analysts whose Pass the Peas station I posted last time, also has a sweet hip-hop station, Ground Level Radio. You must check it out.
Ava, another of our music analysts, plays guitar and does a lot of "quirky" arrangements of old country and blues tunes. She created this station just for you: Early Country. She welcomes your comments.
Veronica, who is on our advertising team and also happens to be a music reviewer, has these lovely stations to share: chill out, pass out, make out and saccharine electropop.
Keeping reading, there's more....
Charlie, who helps plan the ongoing Pandora tour to meet listeners (you!), has a cool station he calls Eclectic Smörgasbord. He says he's concentrated on lyricism and uptempo songs; check out that long list of seeds!
Ian, one of our technical support staff, would like to share his tripdownhoptempo station. He says it's a mix of trip-hop and downtempo which is popular with everyone who's listened to it.
Last but not least, here's a couple more staff-made stations to round out the bunch:
Chicago Blues and Bebop.
Enjoy!

I'm loving your staff favorites. My favorite thus far is easily "chill out, pass out, make out" and I recommend it to other readers here. But it really does beg one question/suggestion. In the future will we be able to listen to others' stations and "send this song to a different station," meaning, directly to one of my stations? Currently I bookmark songs and add them manually, so it's not a huge inconvenience, but it's be a nice touch to do it quickly, y'know?

Thanks, Jeff!
Great suggestion; I'll make sure to pass it on to the rest of the team for consideration.

My most heavily curated station (and the one I spend the most time listening to) is New Acoustic and Folk. The comment form doesn't seem to accept my link, but I've put in my profile URL (linked through my name, I think).

Here's a station that's coming along nicely:
"Tim Westergren's Band":

Yes, it's a simple station based on YellowWood Junction, the band in which Tim played piano long before conceiving of the Music Genome. I've been steering the station in the direction of Tori Amos.
We've collected this and many other stations over at pandorastations.com .

I love Pandora so much. I use to have so many stations but since the revisions my stations have been deleted but thats okay when i get time they will all be put right back up lol!!!! I have told so many about this site as well as when i go to parties and thay want music i pull the "have you tried Pandora" card lmao. you should see the excitement in their faces when they can plug in anything and the music just progresses itself. well done and keep up the great work cause "Pandora is where all your music becomes that or reality:))" Thats my Pandora motto when i tell people hahahah!!!!!Peace
