Pandora's first podcast is Live!!!

We're very pleased to let you know that we've just put up our first podcast. It's called "The Basics of Vocal Harmony."
We're planning to do a whole bunch of these. The idea behind them is to provide some interesting, and hopefully entertaining segments on various aspects of music theory. Kind of like a peek under the hood of music composition and performance using lots of musical examples.
Hope you enjoy it.
Cheers. Tim (Founder)

What a great event to learn about the history of Pandora and plans for the future. Tim was such a cool guy, very upfont and committed to his vision. Thanks!

Oh look. Pandora has raised the bar for on-line music services. Again.
Actually I think this puts you in a unique category: First it was music. Backstage made it Music + massive black hole that sucks up all of your free time. Now it is Music/Black hole/But an EDUCATIONAL black hole.
Oh well, looking forward as always to what you all do next.
Thanks. Again.

hi. i think all of this is amazing, and much needed- this is a great way to discover new music...however, i was disappointed to find that you do not have a classical collection of music at all- any reason why? i am a music junkie, and like just about everything, but classical music and composition is an inspiration. please get some soon.

Bravo!! This site is wonderful!! In addition to supporting kid's music education globally, take your local band director some money or a good new or used band instument!! Find the good and praise it! ( By the way, Mercy Mercy Mercy is a good tune to start middle school jazz bands out on!) :)

Hi Tim,
Since the first time I saw this player a while back, I thought it was brilliant. It could literally take over the world.
Have you considered licensing Pandora players to corporations with sites in need of a musical element? I happen to work at a big corp (read: household name with a Rock 'n' Roll image) which is sorely in need of a programmed station. This could be a symbiotic approach to helping us out (time to embed a player and possibly brand it) AND getting Pandora "out there" to an audience who would have otherwise not experienced the greatness that this is... especially for those of us tied to our desks daily. I'd definitely like to hear your thoughts on such product development!
Cheers,
Diana
