Los Angeles to New York City...

What a week! Started with a fun visit to USC for a discussion with a group of undergraduates, graduate students, faculty and radio biz folks at the Thornton School.

Thanks to Jerry Del Colliano for hosting a very nice event. Breeding the next generation of music/tech entrepreneurs. Jerry is a long time radio guy, now reborn as a tech guru.

Wrapped the evening with a discussion with students and Westwood-ites on the UCLA campus.

Early morning to NYC - halloween night Medeski, Martin & Wood at Hammerstein ballroom... nice photo from balcony...

Wednesday was college day. Started at NYU and an auditorium full of music and technology undergrads. Thanks to Dr. Catherine Fitterman for setting up the gathering.

Then sped uptown to Columbia for a very lively discussion with Jack McGourty's Science, Technology and Society class. Where were all these incredibly cool courses when I was in college?...

Finished the day with a talk to a group of continuing ed folks. Philly next, and what a evening it was...

First, thanks to readers from here for emailing ideas on Musiceuticals. If your're interested, I've posted a few more thoughts on systems that Musiceuticals require--and I think it should ideally incorporate Pandora's music analysis approach.

I'm surprised you haven't made it to St. Paul, MN yet (and now the weather's turning cold...)

The Current (MPR) is a wonderful station we've welcomed with open arms--they've done so much for Mpls area! You would love to chat with this group of fine people...one of the reasons I call this state my home sweet home

Keep up the good work-what a gem Pandora is!

hi Jodi -

We'll definitely hit MN - my home town also! You're right that it would have been nice to get there before the cold, but maybe it'll be a good way to bring some Winter cheer..

See you soon. Stay tuned... Tim (Founder)

Is Pandora experiencing problems today??? I'm not getting any sound at all.

Most of the radio stations available on the web have been blocked by my company, and I am sure it will only be a matter of time before Pandora is blocked as well. In the meantime, I am listening to Christmas music everyday at work and I love it. I have a great love for Mannheim Steamroller and your station provides a great collection of their songs and other songs in the same genre. Thanks and keep up the great work
