Damn, I missed you come through Dallas.
I've got a suggestion for Pandora: user-customizable genre/sub-genre fields. i've got a reggae/rocksteady station, and occasionally Pandora will play drum-n-bass, because they have similar qualities (repetitive song structure, modal harmonies, heavy drum usage, etc.). Despite their theoretical similarities, they are very different styles of music.
I realize that part of Pandora is to introduce new music to the user based on the qualities of the specified music, and a genre filter would hamper that goal, but I do not think it would compromise the project as a whole.
Thanks for a great program--I'd have never heard of most of this stuff without you.

I have two questions. Do you post a schedule of where you'll be ahead of time? When I look at this page, it shows me where you've been. The last question, have you ever thought of having a country station that played nothing but live music. I'm a big fan of live music verses studio recordings.

I am completly in awe, there has never been anything like this in the cold get nothing for nothing computer world. Pandora's is like sharing with a friend but even better, this friend has no boundry's of musical likes or dislikes. Thank you very much for the liberal share all attitude and of course, the MUSIC.........

the transition from album attribution to " buy on amazon" leaves one in the outfield (=scrolling thru inventory w/o more album specifics) Fonofone Records 1956-1969
