Nice new features. I was doing my regular listening when I happen to glance down at the bottom of the screen. I said "Whats This?" First I thought my wife had added a station to my account. Since Pandora has become the main music source in the house. Even my 7 year son is diggin it. My poor CD's all 700 of them sit in their rack in envy. The only time they get play is when I transfer them to my mp3 player or take them into car for a road trip. Anyway I opened the link up and read the instructions and I just said "Wow." All we need is fader button so that you can fade the music from song to another like the feature on Windows Media Player.

Hello Tim,
I just had to let you know this is the best radio station, so far, that I've been listening to. Just keep doing what your doing.
Thanks!!

Hi Tim,
I've been playing with Pandora for a couple of weeks. And I have to tell you that I am constantly reminded of what one of my music teachers said 30 years ago: They keep demonstrating scientifically that there's no difference in tone quality between Van Cliburn and a janitor banging the piano with an umbrella, but they haven't been able to sell tickets to the janitor with the umbrella. There's a big difference between Joni Mitchell and a soprano murmuring indifferent poetry and strumming the guitar in a minor key.

The Awful Show is looking forward to seeing you in Philly on the 2nd! If you keep a running list of your upcoming appearances anywhere, let us know and we'll link them on our site. We'll help any way we can, you've got something AWESOME here!

If advertisers have any questions about the value of your service, have them call me. I am nearly ancient at 60 and have always loved music (that means i buy it, among other things). Lately i have been the worship leader at a local church and loving every minute, but it does narrow one's listening patterns. Stumbling onto your site a few days ago, i have been telling everyone i know. You provide access to good music in styles i like while not limiting me to a particular genre. I have learned about some great artists that i never heard of and never would have but for your service. This is a great gift to music lovers: a chance to hear entire albums if you like, not just a snippet of a song before you decide if you want to own it. I can't believe you aren't selling a lot of music for a lot of people. Thanks for opening up my horizons again.

Thank you for the Quick Mix feature! It's not something I'd thought of, but it makes for a whole different listening experience. I'm now combining some very distinct genres of music into one giant playlist which isn't something available anywhere unless I had put it together from CDs at home--and this way I get to hear new stuff, too! Thanks *so* much!

Great service and much appreciated. Would it be possible to pick out the certain aspects of a song that you like so that there is less trial and error. For example, if you like a songs bass line, you could select that characteristic and Pandora would bring it up in the next song.

Love the site! Thanks a lot!
An idea/question:
Would there be a way which the listener could identify what musical characteristic of the song he likes? For example, on some songs, I really like the bass line, and would like to hear similar songs with prominent bass. Also, sometimes I "thumbs down" a song which has great musical qualities but offensive lyrics . . . anyway to let the program know this?
Thanks again, you're my main station!

Thanks for the quick mix! I'm sure I was not the first to request this and you delivered! Because I love Pandora I'm spreading the word and getting new people hooked.
The best feature of Pandora is the ability to tailor a station to ones own tastes. I'd like to be able to send a station where the recipient can rename it and do further tailoring. This is the best way to spread the word and give new customer prospects an appreciation for the robustness of Pandora. I've received stations, but I don't listen to them because I cannot give songs I don't like the thumbs down.

I like the site a lot: my suggestion is to add classical music...for example, there is no Liszt or Chopin. Thanks!

I would be great if you could pick which parts of a song that you like, so you can tailor make your station more specifically. Such as when you click on a song there is a list of qualities for the song. If you could check which of those you like the best that would be awesome.

Greetings,
My name is Dylan Gehrken. I am an undergraduate at the University of Virginia. In fact, you all stopped by one of my music classes about a month ago. I have really enjoyed Pandora and I have told a lot of my friends about you all. Anyway, I am working on a business plan in one of my commerce classes. Our idea is to have a program similar to Pandora except with wine. A person would log on create a profile and we would recommend different wines based on the underpinnings of their favorite wines.
I was wondering if I could take about five minutes of your time just to see how you all created Pandora.
Thank you so much for your time,
Dylan

Hi - I live in Charleston, West Virginia and love your station. I do have a suggestion - on David Allan Coe's album, you spelled his first name as Davis. You might want to correct that. I am not very computer literate, so I don't know what to put for my URL. Any suggestions? Thanks and keep up the great work.
