Sales Planner - East Coast - New York, NY

Pandora Media is looking for an experienced Sales Planner for our East Coast sales team who has a background in interactive advertising experience with a proven track record of acquiring new business and building/maintaining client relationships. The right candidate will also be highly organized and detailed-oriented, with solid communication skills and the ability to work on multiple ongoing projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for working with East Coast sales team to build and grow our current client list
  • Pre and post sales operations support to the East Coast sales team
  • Develop strong/deep relationships with ad agencies and clients responsible for online advertising
  • Provide pre-sales support to Sales Reps by pulling accurate inventory availability forecasts/reports in DFP's Availability Forecast
  • Help with execution, completion and fulfillment of requests for proposal (RFPs)
  • Assist Sales with @Plan, Comscore and Ad Relevance reports
  • Review media plans to ensure accuracy of placement details
  • Assist in filling out advertising spec templates and answering questions about Pandora's ad specs
  • Enter media plan details into MediaVisor or Atlas as necessary
  • Responsible for procedures related to booking the insertion orders, including successfully entering and reserving ad inventory using DART Sales Manager contract management system
  • Work with ad operations to review campaigns and create post-campaign reports for advertisers
  • Develop strong understanding of Pandora’s ad products and sponsorship opportunities
  • Ensure that our premiere clients receive the highest level of sales customer service
  • Provide scalable solutions for advertisers

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years experience in relevant position in Online Advertising/Marketing
  • Knowledge of the interactive marketplace
  • Strong work ethic; desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Must be a team player
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task - must be able to juggle multiple projects and clients
  • Excellent communication skills - must be able to think critically about both client needs and internal solutions
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Experience with DART Sales Manager is preferred
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Senior Systems Administrator

We are growing our Technical Operations team to meet the demands of our rapidly growing user community, and have a terrific opportunity for a Senior Systems Administrator with formidable experience and excellent communication skills. This is an expert-level position in our Oakland, CA office with response to our Data Center locations.

Responsibilities:
As a member of our Technical Operations team, you will participate in design decisions and help create the company's core high-volume systems and network infrastructure. You will be expected to come up to speed quickly on difficult problems, to become a significant contributor to a hard-working team, and to take pride in your work. We have high expectations and are looking for seasoned professionals with experience in a wide range of areas.

Requirements:
You must be self-motivated, capable of managing your time well, and work efficiently without close supervision. You place a high value on secure, highly available, fault-tolerant systems. You are proactive in identifying and resolving technical challenges enthusiastically troubleshoot problems when they occur, and thrive as a collaborative team player. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.

Requirements for this position also include:

  • Minimum 10 years experience with UNIX/Linux administration
  • Extensive experience building, supporting, and troubleshooting multi-tier, high-volume, production web installations
