First we were excited because we heard that Buddy Guy's Legends was going to host a show by John Primer, who played guitar with Willie Dixon and Muddy Waters back in the late '70s and early '80s. Little did we know that we would show up with camera in hand, and Buddy Guy himself would jump up on stage and start singing with Primer and his band. My, my, my. Amazing. Me too -- Buddy is outrageously great. When he does that run of shows at Legends every January... man oh man, what a time to be in Chicago.
