For many of us, "Come On Get Higher" was the first we heard of Matt Nathanson, as he played this song on Craig Ferguson, on David Letterman, and on VH1. You can hear why this song became a huge international hit, with its gripping and immediate take on physical love and carnal affection. And that chorus is inescapable. You know, I love the original recording - to the point of buying the MP3 and spamming it on repeat for a while - but this is just disappointing. It really pains me to say that, but everything I like best about Nathanson's voice in the recording is absent here -- smoothness, crisp words, intimacy, effortlessness. He sounds drunk and trying too hard here, which is just a crying shame.

I think Matt sounds wonderful in this song. The meaning of this song, is something... that I feel all of us can identify with... to some degree... at some point in our life.
I am loving Pandora and listen everyday... all day... all night, every since my neighbor turned me onto this website. Thank you Pandora.

Love this song! Matt has such a great voice! I first heard about him from Sugarland. They did a version of this song!

I dig this song. I'd heard it before but was never really drawn. Hearing his short interview and watching the song 'live' just now really drove it home for me. The song is actually very tender and intimate and... well, sexy. I think I'll buy the single now.
I'm also enjoying Pandora. Has a lot of potential.
