Knitting Factory, episode 1
New York is host to a wonderful multi-stage performance space called the Knitting Factory, which has its roots in avant-garde jazz and downtown experimental music, but has since blossomed into many other styles of sound. This video, shot during the CMJ Music Marathon, features glimpses of performances by St. Vincent and Bowerbirds as well.
