51st and Broadway, midtown Manhattan. It's an amazing neighborhood that features a particularly great place to experience live jazz: Iridium Jazz Club. Iridium's founder Ron Sturm filled us in on the club's history, and jazz clarinetist Eddie Daniels played a few great sets to celebrate the release of his new album, Live At The Iridium.

These videos are such a terrific addition to the project. As a budding musician, videomaker and now blogger, for me Pandora is divine. Thank you!

First time to your video page. You guys are getting it right. I even like the ads!!! I watched Adidas all the way through--
Thought thereafter: 1st time in a long time I wanted to buy a product after watching an ad, when most other ad experiences inspire muting.

This project is amazingly comprehensive, like a gift that keeps on giving. I enjoyed the Music 101 episodes on harmony, and especially like being surprised to discover other music tastes that I didn't know I had through my radio station.

Peace,
:)

Darah, Kate, Marie-Christelle...

Thrilled to hear it. Hopefully we'll be creating many more of the videos. Please let us know what you'd like to see covered, as we're making these for you.

Thanks so much for the kind words.

afrobeat from Holland

Hi,
I am Yusuf, a Ghanaian percussionist and bandleader living in Amsterdam, Holland. With my band Zuluwannsago we play afrobeat, funk and jazz on Dutch festivals and in clubs, and we would like to go abroad!
Here http://www.youtube.com/zuluwannsago you'll find some recent videos from a Jazz festival in Holland where we performed. And this is my website:http://www.yusufsbeat.nl/. It's in Dutch, but some parts are translated in English (you'll find a button left on top).
I also have a profile on myspace: www.myspace.com/zuluwannsago
I hope you'll find my music interesting and we can do some business together!
Please do let me know what you think about it.
Thanks and greetings,
Yusuf Nuweku
