It’s The Most Musical Time of the Year: SXSW 2014

SXSW imageIf you have ever been to South by Southwest (SXSW) Conference and Festival, you know that 6th Street is like a musical pulse running through the heart of Austin.  Live music comes pouring out from every direction as attendees file down the closed off street, their ears guiding their next move.  For music lovers, it’s a magical experience.  At Pandora, we love getting to bring the thrill of discovering an artist to life through live performances, but we also don’t want you to miss out if you can’t make it to Austin for SXSW.  That’s why we’ll be live streaming all four days of our third annual Pandora Discovery Den.

Starting tomorrow, you can enjoy live performances across a broad range of talent from up-and-coming to established artists, including three Grammy winners and a Rock & Roll Hall of Famer.   More than 35 acts are scheduled to perform at our Discovery Den over the next four days, with each day highlighting a different musical genre, including electronic/pop, hip-hip/R&B, Americana and indie rock.

You can access any of the live broadcast performances via web, mobile and tablet platforms at www.pandora.com/SXSW.  The site also includes daily programming information, exclusive video content and four mixtapes of the performing artists.

Check out the lineup and be sure to tune in live (central time) to experience SXSW with us.

  1. Hey,

    Happy SXSW.
Was wondering if there is still a way to RSVP and attend to the Pandora events.

    Thanks for letting me know.
